Notes for Recording
• If [
FULL
] appears on the display, you
cannot record in the selected folder. In
such a case, erase unnecessary fi les.
• If the recorder is placed directly on
a table when recording a meeting, it
tends to pick up table vibrations. Put
a notebook or other item between
the table and the recorder so that the
vibration is not easily transmitted for
clearer recording.
• Even if you press the
DISP
/
MENU
button, the display will not change
t o c u r r e n t r e c o r d i n g t i m e i f t h e

minutes or less.
• When remaining recording time is
less than 60 seconds, the record/
play indicator light star ts fl ashing
in red. When the recording time is

minutes or longer.

Recording from external
Microphone or other Devices
The ex ternal microphone and other
d ev i ce s c a n b e co n n e c te d a n d th e
sound can be recorded.
• When using an external microphone,
select adequate microphone, such
as a Noise-Cancellation microphone
or Electret condenser microphone
(optional).
• To c o n n e c t t h e r e c o r d e r t o a n
external device, use the connecting
c o r d K A 3 3 3 ( o p t i o n a l ) , a n d t h e
stereo/monaural conver ting plug
adapter supplied with K A333.
• The input level cannot be adjusted
on this recorder. When you connect
the recorder to an external device,
execute a test recording and adjust
t h e o u t p u t l e v e l o f t h e e x t e r n a l
device.
