Define the following fields:

System Name
. Enter the name you want to use to identify this switch. You can use up
to 255 alphanumeric characters. The factory default is blank.

System Location
. Enter the location of this switch. You can use up to 255
alphanumeric characters. The factory default is blank.
•
System Contact
. Enter the contact person for this switch. You can use up to 255
alphanumeric characters. The factory default is blank.

Click the
Apply
button.
The system parameters are applied, and the device is updated.
The following table describes the status information the System Information screen displays.

Field
Description
Product Name
The product name that describes the switch.
Serial Number
The serial number of the switch.
System Object OID
The base object ID for the switch's enterprise MIB.
Date & Time
The current date and time.
System Up Time
The number of days, hours, and minutes since the last system
restart.
Base MAC Address
The universally assigned network address.
Temp (C)
The general temperature of the switch in degrees Celsius.
Temperature Traps Range
Identifies the minimum and maximum degrees of the temperature
traps range.
Note:
NSDP supports TLV for Serial Number.

This screen shows the temperature of different system sensors. The temperature is instant
