The descaling programme cannot be st ar ted until 
the appliance has cooled down to  below 40 °C.

‒

Remove  all accessor ies from the cooking 
compar tment before you st ar t the descaling 
programme (rack ,  cookware, core te mperature 
probe).

‒

The drain filter must remain inser ted in the cooking 
compar tment floor while the descaling programme 
is in progress.

‒

T h e   a p p l i a n c e   d o o r   i s   l o c ke d   w h i l e   t h e   d e s c a l i n g  
programme is in progress. 

‒

Alway s allow the descaling programme to  run to  the 
end. The descaling programme cannot be 
c a n c e l l e d .

‒

Even if you use the descaling and neutralising filter 
( s p e c i a l   a c c e s s o r i e s   G F   1 1 1   1 0 0 ) ,   d e p e n d i n g   o n  
the wa ter type and your use of the appliance, 
d e s c a l i n g   m ay   b e   n e c e s s a r y.   A   m e s s a g e   w i l l   a p p e a r  
on the display to  remind you of this.

Remove  all accessor ies from the cooking

Remove  the locking cap from the descaling 
c a r t r i d g e .

C a u t i o n !

Do not remove  the wax plug from the opening of the 
descaling car tridge. Do not use any other descaler.

Screw  the descaling car tridge

socket in the top of the cooking compar tment. 
Close the appliance door. Press

Once the descaling programme has finished, an 
a u d i b l e   s i g n a l   s o u n d s .   T h e   a p p l i a n c e   d o o r   i s  
unlocked. A message appear s on the display.

Tu rn the drain filter on the cooking compar tment 
f l o o r   a n t i c l o c k w i s e   a n d   r e m ove   i t .   Re m ove   a ny   fo o d  
residues from the drain filter. Rinse out under 
r u n n i n g   wa te r.

The descaling programme has finished. Then delete  the 
descaling message on the display.  Press

  to   c o n f i r m .

Allow the appliance to  cool down. Then polish the 
cooking compar tment and the glass with a sof t cloth.

Dispose of the empty descaling car tridge along with 
your household wa ste in accordance with the regional 
regulations.
