Care and Maintenance

Your phone is a product  of superior design and craft smanship and 
should be t reat ed wit h care. The suggest ions below will help you 
t o f ulfill any warrant y obligat ions and allow you t o enjoy t his 
product  for many years. When using your phone, bat t ery, charger, 
OR any accessory:

Keep it  and all it s part s and accessories out  of small 
children’s reach.

•

Keep it  dry. Precipit at ion, humidit y and liquids cont ain 
minerals t hat  will corrode elect ronic circuit s.

•

Do not  use or st ore it  in dust y, dirt y areas as it s moving 
part s can be damaged.

•

Do not  st ore it  in hot  areas. High t emperat ures can short en 
t he life of elect ronic devices, damage bat t eries, and warp or 
melt  cert ain plast ics.

•

Do not  st ore it  in cold areas. When t he phone warms up (t o 
it s normal operat ing t emperat ure), moist ure can form inside 
t he phone, which may damage t he phone's elect ronic circuit  
boards.

•

Do not  at t empt  t o open it . Non- expert  handling of  t he 
device may damage it .

•

Do not  drop, knock or shake it . Rough handling can break 
int ernal circuit  boards.

•

Do not  use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvent s, or st rong 
det ergent s t o clean it . Wipe it  wit h a soft  clot h slight ly 
dampened in a mild soap- and- wat er solut ion.

•

Do not  paint  it . Paint  can clog t he device’s moving part s and 
prevent  proper operat ion.

•

Use only t he supplied or an approved replacement  ant enna. 
Unaut horized ant ennas, modificat ions or at t achment s could 
damage t he phone and may violat e regulat ions governing 
radio devices.

•

If  t he phone, bat t ery, charger, or any accessory is not  work-
ing properly, t ake it  t o your nearest  qualif ied service f acilit y. 
The personnel t here will assist  you, and if  necessary, arrange 
f or service.
