Sending a touch tone string
Make sure Menu 4- 2- 3- 1 (Settings - Phone settings -
Touch tones - Manual touch t ones) is not set t o Off.
During a call,
1.
Press Options
2.
Scroll t o Touch tones and press OK
3.
Ent er t ouch t one st ring or recall st ring from t he
phone book and press OK
Not e: Use caut ion when sending confident ial inf ormat ion over t he
air when using DTMF t ones in analog mode.
Storing touch tone strings with phone numbers
1.

St ore t he number as you normally would

When you dial t his number, your phone first dials t he
phone number, t hen wait s (because of t he “w” charact er)
for you t o press Send. Your phone t hen sends your
password.
If you include a “p” charact er inst ead of a “w”, your phone
pauses for 2.5 seconds, t hen aut omat ically sends your
password as t ouch t ones.
Linking phone numbers with touch tone strings
This feat ure allows you t o st ore a phone number in one
phone book locat ion and link it t o anot her phone book
locat ion t hat cont ains a t ouch t one st ring.
