Setting up your voice mailbox
Before you can ret rieve any voice messages, you need t o
st ore your voice mailbox number. Your service provider
usually gives t his number t o you.
When you’re ready t o st ore your voice mailbox number,
press Menu 01- 2- 2 (Messages - Voice messages - Voice
mailbox number). Then ent er your voice mailbox phone
number and press OK. This number can be up t o 32 digit s
long and is used unt il it ’s changed. So if your phone
number changes, you may need t o change your voice
mailbox number along wit h it .
Greetings, passwords, and prompts
These may vary in different wireless syst ems. So if you
need informat ion about how t o record your greet ing or
how t o st ore your password, cont act your service
provider. You’ll also need t o cont act t hem on how t o
list en t o voice messages once you’re connect ed t o your
voice mailbox.
Listening to your voice messages
If New voice message is displayed, just press Listen and
follow t he prompt s. If you’d rat her list en t o your
messages lat er, press Exit.
You can list en t o messages anyt ime if you press and hold
t he 1 key (or press 1, t hen
). Calling voice mailbox
will appear on t he display. Or if you prefer, you can access
your voice mailbox by pressing Menu 01- 2- 1 (Messages -
Voice messages - Listen to voice messages).
Volume
You can adjust t he ringing volume and earpiece volume
wit h your phone.
Earpiece volume
While in a phone call, you can adjust t he list ening volume
for your phone’s earpiece. The t op scroll key increases
while t he bot t om one decreases t he volume.
