Checking signal strength

When at  t he st art  screen (

see page 10

) or in a 

call, t he st rengt h of t he radio signal is 
indicat ed by t he signal indicat ors on t he left  
side of your phone’s display. These indicat ors 
will move up as t he st rengt h of t he signal 
increases and down as it  decreases.

Increasing your phone’s signal may be easy. Try moving 
your phone slight ly, or move t owards a window if you’re 
calling from inside a building.

Making a call

Your cellular phone does not  have a dial t one. Simply 
ent er t he phone number (including area code, as needed) 
and press 

NORMAL POSITION: Hold t he phone as you would any ot her 
t elephone wit h t he ant enna point ed up and over your shoulder.

Editing a number on display

If you make a mist ake while ent ering a number t o dial, 
press

 t o move it  

t o t he right . Press Clear t o delet e t he charact er t o t he left  
of t he cursor.
