'Lock' prevents the service provider from chang-
ing the lock code. 'Unlock' allows the provider to 
change the code and restrict others from 
activating the phone.

If t his happens, select  t he appropriate selection for your 
phone. If you don’t  want  your service provider t o change 
your lock code, select  Lock. If you want to allow your 
service provider to change your code t o prevent  other 
service providers from act ivating your phone, press Unlock.

When you subscribe t o any of t hese services, your service 
provider or dealer gives you a separat e feat ure code t o 
act ivat e each service. Deact ivat ion codes are used t o 
deact ivat e each service. 

Once you st ore t he appropriat e code in your phone, t he 
service appears as a menu it em. You can t hen use t he 
menu t o act ivat e and deact ivat e t hese services. 

Not e: These feat ure codes may already be st ored in your phone by 
your service provider. Check wit h your service provider t o confirm 
if t hese codes are already configured in your phone.

Not e: If your phone has more t han one phone number 
programmed, any f eat ure codes st ored will apply only t o your 
primary phone number, or NAM 1.
