blown fuse, or improper use of any elect rical source, or damage
caused by t he connect ion t o ot her product s not recommended for
int erconnect ion by NMP.
c) NMP was not advised by t he Consumer in writ ing of t he alleged
defect or malfunct ion of t he Product wit hin fourt een (14) days
aft er t he expirat ion of t he applicable limit ed warrant y period.
d) The Product serial number plat e or t he accessory dat a code has
been removed, defaced or alt ered.
e) The defect or damage was caused by t he defect ive f unct ion of
t he cellular syst em or by inadequat e signal recept ion by t he
ext ernal ant enna.
8. If a problem develops during t he limit ed warrant y period, t he
Consumer shall t ake t he following st ep- by- st ep procedure:
a) The Consumer shall ret urn t he Product t o t he place of purchase
for repair or replacement processing.
b) If “a” is not convenient because of dist ance (more t han 50
miles) or for ot her good cause, t he Consumer shall ship t he
Product prepaid and insured t o:

c) The Consumer shall include a ret urn address, dayt ime phone
number and/or f ax number, complet e descript ion of t he problem,
proof of purchase and service agreement (if applicable).
Expenses relat ed t o removing t he Product from an inst allat ion are
not covered under t his limit ed warrant y.
d) The Consumer will be billed for any part s or labor charges not
covered by t his limit ed warrant y. The Consumer will be
responsible f or any expenses relat ed t o reinst allat ion of t he
Product .
e) NMP will repair or aut horize t he repair of t he Product under t he
limit ed warrant y wit hin 30 days aft er receipt of t he Product by
NMP or an NMP aut horized service cent er. If NMP cannot perform
repair covered under t his limit ed warrant y wit hin 30 days, or aft er
a reasonable number of at t empt s t o repair t he same def ect , NMP
at it s opt ion, will provide a replacement Product or refund t he
purchase price of t he Product less a reasonable amount f or usage.
