Vibrating alert
This is one of t he set t ings in your phone’s profiles (
see
). Your phone has an int ernal vibrat ing feat ure, so
you can set your phone t o vibrat e when you receive a
voice call.
Activating vibrating alert
1.
Press Menu 3 (Profiles)

Your phone list s each profile. Use

profile you want and press Options.

Highlight Customize and press OK. Press

Vibrating alert, t hen press Select.

t o highlight On or Off and press OK. If you
choose On, your phone will vibrat e even if you have
set Ringing options (
see page 59
) t o Silent.
Not e: The vibrat ing alert does not work when your phone is con-
nect ed t o any charger or car kit . Also, if you have chosen t he
Ring
once
opt ion for t he profile you’re using, t he vibrat ing alert will only
vibrat e once when your phone rings.
Voice mailbox number
This number dials your voice mailbox.
See “Voice messages” in next sect ion.
Voice messages
Voice mail is a net work service t hat may require a
subscript ion from your service provider.
Once everyt hing is set up for your voice mailbox (see next
page), your phone will notify you when you receive a voice
message.
New voice message will appear on t he display along wit h
t he
icon, and you’ll hear a short beep. Your phone
will display t he number of voice messages if you’ve
received more t han one.
