4 .4   Se tting  yo ur NBG - 4 1 8 N v2  to  Unive rsa l Re p e a te r Mo d e

Connect your computer to the LAN port of the NBG-418N v2.

The default LAN IP address of the NBG-418N v2 is 192.168.1.1 in router mode and 192.168.1.2 by default in 
non-router mode.

After you’ve set your computer’s IP address, open a web browser such as Internet Explorer and type the 
IP address of the NBG-418N v2 as the web address in your web browser.

Log into the Web Configurator. See the 

Chapter 2 on page 16

 for instructions on how to do this.

Go to

 Ma inte na nc e  >  Sys O P Mo d e  >  G e ne ra l 

and select 

Unive rsa l Re p e a te r

.

A pop-up window appears providing information on this mode. Click 

O K

 in the pop-up message 

window. Click 

A p p ly

. Your NBG-418N v2 is now in 

Unive rsa l Re p e a te r 

mode.

Note: Wait while the NBG-418N v2 restarts, then log in to the Web Configurator again.

Firmware

Use this screen to upload firmware to your NBG-418N v2.

Configuration

Use this screen to backup and restore the configuration or reset the factory 
defaults to your NBG-418N v2. 

Restart

This screen allows you to reboot the NBG-418N v2 without turning the power 
off.
