Causes of damage

C a u t i o n !

–

Accessories, foil, greaseproof paper or ovenwa re 
on the cooking compar tment floor : do not place 
accessories on the cooking compar tment floor. Do 
not cover the cooking compar tment floor with any 
sor t of foil or greaseproof paper. Do not place 
ovenwa re on the cooking compar tment floor if a 
te mperature of over 50 ºC has been set. This will 
c a u s e   h e a t   to   a c c u m u l a te .   T h e   b a k i n g   a n d   ro a s t i n g  
times will no longer be correct and the enamel will 
be damaged.

Water in a hot cooking compar tment : do not pour 
wa ter into the cooking compar tment when it is hot. 
T h i s   w i l l   c a u s e   s te a m .   T h e   te m p e r a t u r e   c h a n g e   c a n  
cause damage to  the enamel.

M o i s t   fo o d :   d o   n o t   s to r e   m o i s t   fo o d   i n   t h e   c o o k i n g  
compar tment when it is closed for prolonged 
p e r i o d s   T h i s   w i l l   d a m a g e   t h e   e n a m e l .

Fr u i t   j u i c e :   w h e n   b a k i n g   p a r t i c u l a r l y   j u i c y   f r u i t   p i e s ,  
do not pack the baking tray  too generously.  Fr uit 
j u i c e   d r i p p i n g   f r o m   t h e   b a k i n g   t r ay   l e ave s   s t a i n s  
that cannot be removed. If possible, use the deeper 
u n i ve r s a l   p a n .

Cooling with the appliance door open: only allow 
the cooking compar tment to  cool when it is closed. 
Even if the appliance door is only open a little, front 
panels of adjacent units could be damaged over 
t i m e .

Ver y dir ty door seal: If the door seal is ve r y  dir ty, the 
a p p l i a n c e   d o o r   w i l l   n o   l o n g e r   c l o s e   p ro p e r l y   w h e n  
the appliance is in use. The fronts of adjacent units 
could be damaged.Alway s keep the door seal clean.

I n s e r t i n g   a c c e s s o r i e s :   d e p e n d i n g   o n   t h e   a p p l i a n c e  
m o d e l ,   a c c e s s o r i e s   c a n   s c r a t c h   t h e   d o o r   p a n e l  
when closing the appliance door. Alway s inser t the 
a c c e s s o r i e s   i n to   t h e   c o o k i n g   c o m p a r t m e n t   a s   fa r   a s  
they  will go.

C a r r y i n g   t h e   a p p l i a n c e :   d o   n o t   c a r r y   o r   h o l d   t h e  
appliance by  the door handle. The door handle 
cannot suppor t the weight of the appliance and 
could break .

Use baking tins that are dark-coloured, painted 
b l a c k   o r   h ave   a n   e n a m e l   c o a t i n g .   T h e s e   a b s o r b   t h e  
h e a t   p a r t i c u l a r l y   we l l .

Open the appliance door as infrequently as 
possible when the appliance is in use.

You can place two cakes next to  one another in the 
cooking compar tment. In hot-air mode, you can 
bake on more than one level at a time.

For longer cooking times, you can switch the 
appliance of f 10 minutes before the end of the 
cooking time and use the residual heat to  finish 
c o o k i n g .
