Operating the appliance

C o o k i n g   c o m p a r t m e n t

The cooking compar tment has three rack levels. The 
rack levels are counted from the bottom up.

C a u t i o n !

–

Do not place anything directly on the cooking 
compar tment floor. Do not line it with aluminium 
foil. A build-up of heat could damage the appliance.

–

Do not slide any accessories between the shelf 
positions, or they may tilt.

I n s e r t i n g   a c c e s s o r i e s

T h e   a c c e s s o r i e s   h ave   a   l o c k i n g   f u n c t i o n . T h e   l o c k i n g  
function prevents the accessories from tilting when they  
a r e   p u l l e d   o u t . T h e   a c c e s s o r i e s   m u s t   b e   i n s e r te d   i n to   t h e  
cooking compar tment correctly for the tilt protection to  
wo r k   p ro p e r l y.

When inser ting the wire rack , make sure that

Set the required heating mode using the function 
s e l e c to r.   T h e   c h o s e n   h e a t i n g   m o d e   a n d   t h e   d e fa u l t  
te mperature are displayed.

If you want to  change the default te mperature: 
set the required te mperature with the rot a r y  
s e l e c to r.

The preheating symbol

b a r   c o n t i n u o u s l y   s h ow s   t h e   p r e h e a t i n g   s t a t u s .   W h e n   t h e  
set te mperature is reached, a signal sounds and the

Rapid heating

With the "Rapid heat-up" function, your appliance 
reaches the desired te mperature   p a r t i c u l a r l y   q u i c k l y   i n  
the top heating, bottom heating and top/bottom heating 
t y p e s   o f   h e a t i n g .

To  ensure an even cooking result, do not place your 
food in the cooking compar tment until "Rapid heat-up" 
is complete  and the 

’

  h e a t - u p   s y m b o l   g o e s   o u t .

N o te :  

The "Rapid heat-up" function is preset in the 

factor y settings. In the basic settings, you can select

Safety shut-of f

For your protection, the appliance is equipped with an 
a u to m a t i c   s a fe t y   s h u t - o f f .   A ny   h e a t i n g   p ro c e s s   i s  
s w i t c h e d   o f f   a f te r   1 2   h o u r s   i f   t h e   ove n   i s   n o t   o p e r a te d   i n  
this time. A message appear s in the display.

Exception: 
T h e   l o n g - te r m   t i m e r   h a s   b e e n   p ro g r a m m e d .
