Cleaning and maintenance

With thorough care and cleaning your appliance will 
ret ain its looks and remain in good order. We  will 
explain here how you should care for and clean your 
a p p l i a n c e   c o r r e c t l y.

The appliance becomes ve r y  hot. N ever touch the 
interior sur faces of the cooking compar tment or the 
heating elements. Alway s allow the appliance to  cool

Do not use any high-pressure cleaner s or steam 
c l e a n e r s ,   w h i c h   c a n   r e s u l t   i n   a n   e l e c t r i c   s h o c k .

Scratched glass in the appliance door may develop into 
a   c r a c k .   D o   n o t   u s e   a   g l a s s   s c r a p e r,   s h a r p   o r   a b r a s i ve  
cleaning aids or dete rgents.

Pay   a t te n t i o n   to   t h e   i n fo r m a t i o n   i n   t h e   t a b l e   to   avo i d  
d a m a g i n g   t h e   va r i o u s   s u r fa c e s   by   i n c o r r e c t   c l e a n i n g  
agents.

Thoroughly rinse out new sponge cloths before use.

M i c r o f i b r e   c l o t h

The honeycomb microfibre cloth is par ticularly suit able 
for cleaning sensitive sur faces such as glass, glass 
c e r a m i c ,   s t a i n l e s s   s te e l   o r   a l u m i n i u m   ( p a r t   n u m b e r

online shop). It removes liquid and greasy deposits in 
o n e   g o .

Cleaning products

Door panels

Glass cleaner: Clean with a soft cloth or a 
microfibre cloth.  
Do not use a glass scraper.

Display

Wipe down using a microfibre cloth or a 
slightly damp cloth.  
Do not wipe with a wet cloth.

Stainless steel

Hot soapy water: Clean using a dish cloth 
and then dry with a soft cloth. Remove 
splashes and patches of limescale, 
grease, starch and albumin (e.g. egg 
white) immediately. Corrosion can form 
under these patches or splashes. Special 
stainless-steel cleaning products are 
available from the after-sales service or 
from specialist retailers.

Aluminium, 
matt black

Hot soapy water: Clean using a dish cloth 
and then dry with a soft cloth. 

Use a fat dissolving agent (article no. 
00311297 from our after-sales service or 
from the online shop) to remove burnt-on 
remnants and grease. Follow the instruc-
tions for use provided with the cleaning 
product.

Caution!
Risk of surface damage if an 
unsuitable cleaning product is used.

Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning 
products.

Cooking
compartment 

Hot soapy water: Clean using a dish cloth 
and then dry with a soft cloth. 

Very dirty cook-
ing compartment

Oven cleaner gel (article no. 00463582 
from our after-sales service or from the 
online shop).

Please note:

Must not come into contact with the 
door seal.

Maximum application time is 12 hours.

Do not use on hot surfaces.

Rinse off thoroughly with water.

Follow the manufacturer’s instruc-
tions.

Do not remove.

Hot soapy water: Clean with a dish cloth; 
do not scrub.  
Do not use a metal or glass scraper for 
cleaning.

Wipe with a damp cloth.  
Do not clean in the dishwasher.

Accessories

Hot soapy water: Soak and clean with a 
dish cloth or brush.

Shelf supports

Dishwasher; see section entitled "Remov-
ing the shelf supports"

Hot soapy water: Clean with a dish cloth 
or a brush.  
Do not soak or clean in the dishwasher.

Baking stone

Remove burnt-on remnants with a brush. 
Never clean the baking stone with water.
