Trouble shooting

Malfunctions of ten have  simple explanations. Please 
read the following notes before calling the af te r-sales 
s e r v i c e .

Warning – Risk of electric shock! 

Incorrect repair s are dangerous. Repair s may only be 
c a r r i e d   o u t   a n d   d a m a g e d   p owe r   c a b l e s   r e p l a c e d   by   o n e  
o f   o u r   t r a i n e d   a f te r- s a l e s   te c h n i c i a n s .   I f   t h e   a p p l i a n c e   i s  
defective, unplug the appliance from the mains or switch 
of f the circuit breaker in the fuse box. Cont act the af te r-
s a l e s   s e r v i c e .

Pow e r   c u t

Yo u r   a p p l i a n c e   c a n   b r i d g e   a   p owe r   c u t   o f   a   few  
seconds. Operation continues. 

If the power cut was for a longer period and the 
appliance was in operation, a message appear s in the 
d i s p l ay.   O p e r a t i o n   i s   i n te r r u p te d .

Set the function selector to  

0

, then the appliance can be 

operated again as usual.

D e m o   m o d e

T h e

 symbol appear s on the display when the 

a p p l i a n c e   i s   i n   d e m o   m o d e .   T h e   a p p l i a n c e   w i l l   n o t   h e a t  
u p .

B r i e f l y   d i s c o n n e c t   t h e   a p p l i a n c e   f r o m   t h e   m a i n s   ( s w i t c h  
of f the household fuse or the circuit breaker in the fuse 
box). Then deactivate demo mode in the basic settings 
within 3 minutes (see section entitled 'Basic settings').

Disruption

Possible cause

Solution

Appliance not working, no display

Plug not inserted

Connect the appliance to the electricity 
mains

Power  failure

Check whether other kitchen appliances 
are working

Fuse defective

Check in the fuse box whether the fuse 
for the appliance is in working order

Operating error

Switch off the fuse for the appliance in 
the fuse box and switch it on again after 
about 60 seconds

Appliance cannot be started

Appliance door is not quite closed

Close appliance door

The appliance is not working and the 
display does not respond.

Childproof lock activated

Deactivate the childproof lock (see sec-
tion entitled 'Childproof lock')

Appliance switches off on its own

Safety shut-off: the appliance has not 
been operated for longer than 12 hours

Confirm the message with

Deactivate the demo mode in the basic 
settings

If an error message is  displayed, turn

tact the after-sales  service and inform 
them of the error code.
