Read this user manual carefully before you use the appliance and save it for future reference.

Danger

 - Never immerse the motor unit or the gear housing of the meat mincer in water or any other 

liquid, nor rinse it under the tap. Use only a moist cloth to clean the motor unit.

Warning

 - Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local mains voltage before 

you connect the appliance.

 - Never connect this appliance to a timer switch in order to avoid a hazardous situation.

 - If the mains cord is damaged, you must have it replaced by Philips, a ser vice centre authorised by 

Philips or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

 - Do not use the appliance if the plug, the mains cord or other par ts are damaged.

 - Never use the blender, food processor bowl, juicer or meat mincer to switch the appliance on 

and off.

 - Never let the appliance run unattended.

 - This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, 

sensor y or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given 

super vision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their 

safety.

 - Children should be super vised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Caution

 - Always unplug the appliance before you assemble, disassemble or make adjustments to any of 

the par ts.

 - Always switch off the appliance by turning the control knob to O.

 - Never use any accessories or par ts from other manufacturers or that Philips does 

not specifically recommend. If you use such accessories or par ts, your guarantee becomes 

invalid.

 - Do not exceed the top level indication on the jar and the bowl.

 - You can only use the food processor bowl and the meat mincer when the screw cap instead of 

the blender jar is screwed onto the motor unit.

 - Cer tain ingredients may cause discolourations on the surface of the par ts. This does not have a 

negative effect on the par ts. The discolourations usually disappear after some time.

 - This appliance is intended for household use only.

Warning

 - If the blade unit gets stuck, unplug the appliance before you remove the ingredients that block 

the blade unit.

 - Do not touch the cutting edges of the blade unit and the discs when you handle or clean them. 

They are ver y sharp and you could easily cut your fingers on them.
