Remove the SIM card
Note: Press and hold
to turn
off the phone (if on).

Remove the battery.
2.
Slide the SIM card to
the left, then lift to remove.
Important:
Please handle the SIM card on its sides. Avoid touching the
circuits as this may cause damage to the SIM.
Important:
Verizon Wireless has provided a unique SIM card to be used
with your SCH-i830.
Battery
The i830 comes with a standard rechargeable battery,
power accessory, and headset.
Note:
The battery for the i830 can be charged before it is fully drained
without causing damage.
Install the Battery
1.
Place the battery on the back of the phone, making sure
the plastic tabs are aligned with the corresponding holes
in the phone.
