MAC NOTIFICATION COMMANDS
The MAC Notification commands in the Command Line Interface (CLI) are listed (along with the appropriate
parameters) in the following table.

enable mac_notification
Purpose
Used to enable global MAC address table notification on the Switch.
Syntax
enable mac_notification
Description
The
enable mac_notification
command is used to enable MAC
address notification without changing configuration.
Parameters
None.
Restrictions
Only administrator or operator-level users can issue this command
Example usage:
To enable MAC notification without changing basic configuration:
DGS-1210-28MP:5# enable mac_notification
Command: enable mac_notification
Success.
DGS-1210-28MP:5#
disable mac_notification
Purpose
Used to disable global MAC address table notification on the Switch.
