Symbols on the product
On the product you will find symbols indicating warnings and informa-

tion:

 WARNING: Risk of burns!

During operation the sealing wire temperature is very high. You will 

find this symbol in combination with the wording “CAUTION: HOT”.

•  Do not try to repair the appliance on your own. Always contact an 

authorized technician. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be 

replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified 

persons in order to avoid a hazard.

•  This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and 

above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capa-

bilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given 

supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe 

way and understand the hazards involved.

•  Children shall not play with the appliance.

•  Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children 

without supervision.

Intended use
This appliance is intended for vacuuming off air 

and for sealing textured plastic bags and wrap foil.
Only use as described in this instruction manual. 

Do not use appliance for commercial purposes.
Any other use is not intended and may cause 

material damage or even injuries.
The supplier is not liable for damage caused by 

not intended use.

Notes on Storing Food

Vacuum sealing, i.e. vacuuming air out of the 

packaging, is a common method of prolonging the 

storage life of food. With the purchase of the  

PC-VK 1080 you have chosen a product that 

allows for the fast and convenient use of airtight 

packaging.
Due to oxygen in the air, food may easily loose its 

fresh flavor and quality.
