 Flush -fit ted induction cooktop CI 491. 

 An absolute delight to behold. When switched of f, the 
CI 491 blends into the work top almost invisibly. The 
visual elements are all reduced to the bare essentials –
the cooking zones, main switch and Gaggenau logo. 
Such minimalistic design brings out the best in flush -
fit ted sur faces.  

 Width : 9 0 cm; frameless to suit flush - fit ting.

Five cooking zones : Including a 28 cm zone that can be

switched on automatically – just the thing for oversized cook-
ware.

Fr ying sensor function : For healthier and uniquely delicious

fr ying. Per fect in combination with the stainless steel fr ying 
sensor pan, available as a special accessor y.

Automatic pot detection : The heat develops directly at the 

ƒ

bot tom of the pot and therefore doesn’t have to be transmit-
ted from the cook top to the pot.

Twist- Pad control : Convenient level control with a removable 

ƒ

magnetic knob. See pages 82/8 3 for more details.

Quick boil timer : The selec ted cooking set ting is raised to

ƒ

the ma ximum level for bet ween one and 20 minutes, depend -
ing on the individual set tings. The cook top then automatically 
rever ts back to its initial temperature.

Booster function: For intensive searing or heating up large 

ƒ

amounts of liquid in a flash. Temporarily increases the power 
of any par ticular c ook ing zone by about 5 0 per c ent . T he 
power of the large 28 cm zone c an even be increa sed to 
4.4 kW.

Cooking timer : You can set the cooking zones to be automat-

ƒ

ically switched of f at any moment within the following
9 0 minutes. The integrated clock also acts as the timer.
