Island ventilation hood AI 40 0.  

 Gaggenau’s most power ful ventilation hood. A new fea-
ture of this classic appliance is the harmoniously calm 
appearance of the underside with its rim ex traction filter. 
Also available as an AW 40 0 wall - mounted hood.  

 Dimensions : 120 cm wide, 70 cm deep; made of stainless 

ƒ

steel. (Also available in a width of 150 cm. The wall - mounted 
hood is available in a width of 9 0 cm. In combination with an 
ex ternal fan, the AI 40 0 is also available without a motor.)

Dimmable cook top lighting : When switched on/of f, the light 

ƒ

gently fades in/out. It can also be dimmed manually.

Four modes : Three output modes and an intensive mode, 

ƒ

which automatically rever ts to the previously selected mode 
af ter a few minutes.

Run - on function : At the push of a but ton, the ventilation runs 

ƒ

on for about ten minutes and then automatically cuts out.

Inter val ventilation : To assist room ventilation, the AI 40 0 

ƒ

automatically switches on for five minutes ever y hour. 

Rim ex traction filter: A visual treat that is ex tremely quiet and 

ƒ

ef ficient . T he filter s are ex trac ted using a push - to - unlock 
system that features a safet y catch and can be conveniently

Air ex traction or recirculation : Both are possible.
