Teppan Yaki
For roasting and cooking Japa -
nese style, directly on the smooth
metal sur face – a more precise
cooking procedure than with a
pan or grill. With an adjustable
sur face temperature control –
either across the whole sur face
or, a s is the c a se w ith the
Vario 40 0, just half of it.
Cleaning set ting: The water
for cleaning the Teppan Yaki
VP 23 0 can be heated up to the
desired temperature of about
40 °C directly on the appliance
itself.
Hard - chromed cooking
sur face ( Vario cook tops 4 0 0
series): Just like a good cast
pan, it will show signs of use, but
the sur face will always remain
easy to clean and does not wear.
Stainless s teel sandwich
cooking sur face ( Vario cook-
tops 2 0 0 series): For the ma xi -
mum cooking area with even
heat distribution in the compact
dimensions of the 20 0 series.
When used, this sur face will
also take on an individual look
but this will in no way impact
on its operation.
Warming stage: Regulated
set ting, keeps meals warm with
greater precision than in a pot.
Thermoelec tric flame
monitoring
Automatic ignition of the flame
on operating the knob. The knob
must be held for a shor t time,
until the thermo - element ha s
reached the required tempera -
ture for a stable flame. Should
the gas flame go out unintention -
ally, the gas supply to all burners
is automatically interrupted.
Time delay
The electronic timer allows you
to specif y when the wash
programme is to begin – up to
24 hours in advance.
Twis t- Pad control
The manoeuvrable magnetic
knob on the Twist- Pad makes
cook top control par ticularly
ea sy. To ac tivate a par ticular
cooking zone, briefly move the
knob towards the zone in ques -
tion and then turn it to select
the desired power set ting. LED
displays in the cook top show
the selected set ting. The magnet
always returns the knob to its
idle position in the middle of
the Twist- Pad. The knob can
be removed to facilitate cleaning
the smooth - sur face cook top.
The main switch – along with
additional functions such as the
timer, fr ying sensor or booster –
are activated using sensor
but tons.

Universal pan
This pan for collec ting meat
juices completes the micro -
wave set. It is also suitable for
Twist- Pad control.
A manoeuvrable magnetic knob makes control
par ticularly ea sy. The knob is removed to facilitate cleaning the
