means fast and consistent 
results when both cooking and 
thawing. Since the heat pen -
etrates gently, food which is 
overcooked at the top or on the 
edges will become a thing of 
the past – no more half- cooked 
food which is still frozen in 
the middle. In fact, your food 
will both look and taste bet ter.

Intensive mode

Three power set tings and an 
intensive mode can be activated 
via individual control but tons 
on the ventilation appliances. 
Depending on the par ticular 
model and set ting, the intensive 
mode automatically rever ts to 
the previously selec ted power 
set ting af ter three, five or ten 
minutes of operation.

Interior light

A bright white light evenly illu -
minates the interior from above, 
meaning that user s have a 
bet ter view of the appliance’s 
contents.

Bot tle trays in beech and 
aluminium: The untreated 
beech ensures that no aroma 
transfer can occur. The wood 
is rounded of f to protec t the 
s e n s i t i v e   labels.

This accessor y is available as 
a set of three. 

Shelves in aluminium: The 
per fect accessor y for wine cabi -
nets. Ideal for accommodating 
decanters, carafes, open bot tles, 
as well as the humidor.

Inter val ventilation

When inter val ventilation is 
 ac tivated, the ventilation hood 
automatically switches to the 
preselected output level for five 
minutes each hour. This means 
that used or stale air can be 
reg ularly ex trac ted from the 
room – also at night or during 
long absences.

K nobs 

Vario appliances of the 4 0 0 
series: Since knobs need to 
be both pressed and turned to 
activate the corresponding 
function, all appliances are pro -
tected against unintentional 
switching on. Before a knob can 
be turned, it must be pushed 
through a clearly perceptible 
stop position. Active cooking 
zones are indicated by an or-
ange illuminated ring. On gas 
appliances which are not fully 
electronic, ring illumination is 
not possible – the knob can 
only be turned in one direction 
in this case.

Vario appliances of the 2 0 0 
series: The gas appliances are 
protected against unintentional 
activation because their control 
knobs have to be both pressed 
and turned. The elegant solid 
metal knobs draw on the design 
of the 20 0 series ovens’ control 
knobs.
