– Unscrew the locking screw

 with a suitable Allen key.

– Full the oil chamber

 with engine oil.

– Retighten the locking screw

The striking mechanism of the impact wrench must be 
lightly lubricated after 60 working hours at the latest.

– To do so, turn the pneumatic tool so that the handle points 

upward.

– Unscrew the locking screw

 with a suitable Allen key.

– Fill engine oil into the striking mechanism through the 

opening of the locking screw.

– Retighten the locking screw

After approximately 100,000 screwing operations, the strik-
ing mechanism must be relubricated.

– To do so, turn the pneumatic tool so that the handle points 

upward.

– Unscrew the locking screw

 with a suitable Allen key.

– Drain the waste oil in an environmental-friendly manner.
– Fill engine oil into the striking mechanism through the 

opening of the locking screw. The quantity of engine oil to 
be refilled can be found in the chart row on engine oil (see 
“Technical Data”).

– Remove any excess oil using a soft cloth.
– Retighten the locking screw

Lubrication of Pneumatic Tools that do not belong to the 
CLEAN Product Line

For all Bosch pneumatic tools that do not belong to the CLEAN 
product line (these have a special type of compressed-air mo-
tor that functions with oil-free compressed air), oil mist 
should be added continuously to the flowing-through com-
pressed air. The compressed-air oiler required for this is in-
cluded in the compressed-air service unit on the line side of 
the pneumatic tool (for more details, please refer to the com-
pressor manufacturer).
