PRODUCT  DESCRIPTION

This  docum entatio n  describ es  a  hand-operated
electric chain  saw.

rain  and  moisture

W ear protective  glasses and 

ear defenders.

Immediately  disconnect the  plug 

from  the  mains  if the  extension 
cable  has  been  damaged  or cut.

The  electric  chain  saw  is  equipped  with  a  motor 

protection  switch  which  switches  off  in  case  o f 

overload;  it  projects  from  the  machine  casing  in 
this case.

The  switch  can  be  pushed  back  in  again  after  a 
cooling-down  phase  o f  approx.  15  minutes,  and 
the  electric chain  saw  can  be  switched  on.

Danger o f injury  if the  safety  devices are 

tam pered  with!

Tampering with safety devices can result 

in  serious  injuries!

Do  not  deactivate  safety  and  protective 

devices.

C h a in   b ra ke

The  chain  saw  has  a  manual  chain  brake  that  is 
triggered  by  the  hand  guard,  for  example  if  kick- 

back occurs.

When  the  chain  brake  is triggered,  the  saw  chain 

is abruptly  stopped  and  the  m otor switched  off.

D e s ig n a te d   use

The  electric chain  saw  is exclusively designed  for 
domestic,  DIY and  gardening  applications.  In this 
area,  the  electric  chain  saw  can  be  used  for  ge­

neral jo b s  such  as:

Cutting  up tim ber

■  

Cutting  down  hedges

■  

Sawing  firewood
