Motorised 3-way valve 

(optional)

 for heating 

only systems

This  is  composed  of  an  electric  motor  (1)  connected  to  the 

three-way group (2) with a clip.

Based on the request (DHW or CH), the three-way valve allows 

boiler water to enter the heating system or the DHW exchanger 

(Separate 80, 105, 120, 200 and 300 litre storage tank unit).

This depends on the position of the shutter (4) which closes 

the  passage  to  the  system  and  at  the  same  time  opens  the 

passage to the DHW heat exchanger (DHW position), or vice 

versa (CH position).

The shutter (4) is moved into both positions by powering the 

motor (1) (optional) that causes it to move as needed.

The hydraulic part is made of a group built with composite 

material (2).

To mount the electric motor (1) push it inside the body of the 

three-way valve and block it with the designated clip.

Heating only operation

The  counter  spring  (3)  of  the  shutter  (4)  is  not  compressed 

(heating  position),  keeping  the  passage  towards  the  system 

flow open.

Both the spring (3) and the shutter (4) are situated inside the 

body of the 3-way cartridge made from composite material (2).

CH  and  DHW  mode 

(by  using  the  optional  motorised 

3-way valve)

The  operation  is  conducted  in  the  same  way  for  combined 

boilers (see operation in the previous pages).
