CLEANING OF FUEL FILTER

WARNINGμ INFδAεεABδES STRICTδY PROHIBITED

Interval of Cleaning and Inspectionμ εonthly (every ηί operating hours)

Suction head in the fuel tank

Check the fuel ilter (1) periodicallyέ To check the fuel ilter, follow the steps belowμ
1έ  Remove  the  fuel  tank  cap,  drain  the  fuel  to  empty  the  tankέ  Check  the  tank 

inside for any foreign materialsέ If any, remove themέ 

βέ  Pull out the suction head by using a wire hook through the tank openingέ
γέ  If the fuel ilter clogged slightly, clean itέ To clean it, gently shake and tap it in 

fuelέ To avoid damage, do not squeeze or rub itέ The fuel used for the cleaning 
must be disposed in accordance with the method speciied by regulations in 
your countryέ

If the fuel ilter became hard or heavily clogged up, replace itέ

ζέ  After checking, cleaning or replacing, insert the fuel ilter into the fuel pipe (γ) 

and ix it by the hose clamp (β)έ Push the fuel ilter in all the way to the bottom 
of the fuel tankέ

Clogged or damaged fuel ilter can cause insuficient fuel supply and reduce enά

gine  powerέ  Replace  the  fuel  ilter  at  least  quarterly  to  ensure  satisfactory  fuel 

supply to the carburetorέ

REPLACEMENT OF FUEL PIPE

Interval of Cleaning and Inspectionμ Daily (every 1ί operating hours)

Replacementμ Annually (every βίί operating hours)

Replace  the  fuel  pipe  (1)  every  year,  regardless  of  operating  frequencyέ  όuel 

leakage may lead to ireέ

If any leakage is detected during inspection, replace the fuel pipe immediatelyέ

INSPECTION OF BOLTS, NUTS AND SCREWS

Retighten loose bolts, nuts, etcέ

●

Check the fuel cap and oil cap for tightnessέ Check for fuel and oil leakageέ

●

Replace damaged parts with new ones for safety operationέ

CLEANING OF PARTS

●

Always keep the engine clean by wiping down with a cloth ragέ

●

Keep the cylinder ins free of dust or dirtέ Dust or dirt adhering to the ins will 

cause piston seizureέ

REPLACEMENT OF GASKETS AND PACKINGS

Replace gaskets and packings if the engine is disassembledέ

Any maintenance or adjustment work that is not included and described in this manual is only to be performed by Authorized Service Agentsέ
