After fi nishing the second descaling and cleaning phase, the espresso machine
will start to heat up.
Once the espresso machine has heated up, the third phase of the descaling
and cleaning process will be started.
As soon as the message «READY» is shown on the display, the descaling
process is complete. You can continue brewing coffee.
Cleaning the spent coffee grounds container and the drip tray
•
When cleaning the spent coffee grounds container and the drip tray, do not use alcohol-based, chemical or
abrasive cleaning agents.

The drip tray and the spent coffee grounds container cannot be washed in a dishwasher.
•
When cleaning the spent coffee grounds container and the drip tray, do not use metal items to remove dried
on and accumulated materials, this will prevent scratching.

If your espresso machine informs you about the need for the spent coffee grounds container to be cleaned,
it is necessary to clean the container without delay. In this way you will prevent possible damage to the
espresso machine.
If spent coffee from 15 brewed beverages collects in the container, the display will
automatically show the message «EMPTY GROUNDS». The spent coffee grounds
container needs to be emptied without delay.
If the message «INSTALL TRAY» is shown on the display, insert the emptied spent
coffee grounds container back into the drip tray and slide it back into the espresso
machine.
Once the drip tray is fully inserted into the espresso machine, the message «READY»
will be shown on the display.
Now it is possible to continue using the espresso machine.
If the drip tray is fi lled up, the message «EMPTY TRAY» will automatically be shown
on the display. Pull out the drip tray from the espresso machine and carefully empty it.
Reinsert the completely emptied drip tray back into the espresso machine, the
message «READY» will be shown on the display. Now it is possible to continue using
the espresso machine.
