Starting the trimmer

• Pour the fuel mixture into the fuel tank.

• Press the rubber cap of the manual fuel pump fi ve to seven 
times to fi ll the carburetor with the fuel mixture (fi g. 10). At the 
same time, the pumped fuel mixture must be viewed through 
the rubber cap of the manual fuel pump knob. If the fuel mixture 
does not fi ll the cap, press the manual fuel pump knob several 
times.

• Move the air valve lever upwards to position |/| (fi g. 11). Turn the 
switch on the control lever to the "On" position (fi g. 14). 

• Press the gas throttle lever on the control lever and secure it 
with the retainer (fi g. 13).

• While holding the trimmer, pull the handle of the starter until it "ignites". Quickly pull the starter handle. 
Repeat these steps until the engine starts (fi g. 12).

• Move the air valve lever downwards, then press the gas 
throttle lever to unlock it (fi g. 13). 

• Smoothly press the gas throttle lever, bringing the engine to 
its maximum speed and start operating the unit (fi g. 14). To 
mow, hold the trimmer fi rmly with both hands on the handles. 

• If the engine is warm, turn on the trimmer and follow the same 
procedure as for the cold start but without using the pump. The 
air valve shall be in the lower position.

WARNING!

Before starting the engine, make sure the machine's workpiece is not in contact with foreign 
bodies.

ATTENTION!

Starting the engine is forbidden without fi rst pulling the starter cord! Strong jerks of 
the unstrung cord and pulling the cord up to the stop may cause damage to the starter 
mechanism.
