3. Protective cover installation 

• Align the holes on the protective cover with the holes on the mounting plate (fi g. 4).

• Secure the protective cover onto the mounting plate with the bolts with washers using a hex wrench (fi g. 5).

4. Throttle valve cable connection

• Remove the air fi lter cover. 

• Secure the cable to the engine and place the end of the cable in the 
throttle valve connector (Fig 6). 

• Connect the red cable of the control handle to the red cable of the 
engine, and the black cable to the black cable of the engine. 

• Install the air fi lter cover.

5. Fitting of the shoulder strap

• Secure the shoulder strap carabiner to the strap fastening ring. 

• To ensure better balance of the appliance, adjust the position of the 
strap fastening ring on the pipe of the appliance by loosening the ring 
retaining bolt. 

• After the adjustment, fi x the ring with the fastening bolt. 

• Adjust the length of the strap if necessary to ensure convenience.

6. Cutting blade installation

• Align the hole of the fl ange washer with the hole of the gear cup (fi g. 7). 

• Insert the metal locking rod into the hole of the gear cup and into the hole of the fl ange washer. 

• Unscrew the fastening nut from the trimmer shaft clockwise. 

• Remove the cup from the shaft, leaving the fl ange washer. 

• Place the cutting blade on the fl ange washer.
