Regularly clean the cylinder gills from dirt using a brush and/or compressed air.

4. Exhaust pipe

Periodically clean the engine exhaust spark arrestor (fi g. 17). The contaminated spark arrestor may adversely 
aff ect engine power and mowing quality.

5. Gearbox 

Once every three months, check for the presence of oil in the gearbox (fi g. 18). If necessary, replace the oil or 
contact an authorized service center.

TROUBLESHOOTING

The engine does not 
start. 

The ignition switch is in the "Off " position 
(off ).

Turn the ignition switch in the direction 
opposite to the indicated arrow on the 
control lever.

Empty fuel tank.

Add fresh fuel mixture in the fuel tank.

The rubber cap of the manual fuel pump is 
pressed.

Fully push the rubber cap of the manual fuel 
pump 5-7 times 

The carburettor is pouring fuel (because of 
an incorrect starting order).

Repeat the start-up procedure by setting the 
carburettor air valve control lever to position 
1 ("Fully open").

An old or improperly prepared fuel mixture.

Drain the fuel mixture from the fuel tank. 
Add fresh fuel mixture.

Damaged spark plug.

Clean or replace the spark plug.

The engine is unstable 
running at idle.

Dirty air fi lter. 

Clean or replace the air fi lter.

An old or improperly prepared fuel mixture.

Drain the fuel mixture from the fuel tank. 
Add fresh fuel mixture.

The engine does not 
gain momentum.

An old or improperly prepared fu el mixture.

Drain the fuel mixture from the fuel tank. 
Add fresh fuel mixture.

The engine does not 
reach the required 
power.

The working tool is blocked by foreign 
objects.

Stop the engine and clean the working tool.

Dirty air fi lter.

Clean or replace the air fi lter.

An old or improperly prepared fuel mixture.

Drain the fuel mixture from the fuel tank. 
Add fresh fuel mixture.
