System Information Settings
System Information
The user can enter a System Name, System Location, and System Contact to aid in defining the
Switch.
To view the following window, click
System > System Information Settings>System Information
,
as shown below:

The fields that can be configured are described below:
Parameter
Description
System Name
Enter a system name for the Switch, if so desired. This name
will identify it in the Switch network.
System Location
Enter the location of the Switch, if so desired.
System Contact
Enter a contact name for the Switch, if so desired.
Click the
Apply
button to accept the changes made.
IPv4 Interface
This window is used to configure the IPv4 settings of the switch.
To view the following window, click
System > System Information Settings > IPv4 Interface
, as
shown below:

The fields that can be configured are described below:
Parameter
Description
Get IP From
Select DHCP to automatically obtain an IP address. Select Static to
manually configure the IP address settings.
IP Address
If Static is selected, enter the IP address of the switch. If DHCP is
selected, the automatically obtained IP address will be displayed.
Mask
If Static is selected, enter the IP address of the switch. If DHCP is
selected, the automatically obtained network mask will be displayed.
Gateway
If Static is selected, enter the IP address of the switch. If DHCP is
