specialists wearing suitable personal protective equip-

filtration system.

Observe the applicable safety in-

structions for the materials being vacuumed.

Apply 

the parking brake at the steering roller to ensure a se-
cure footing for the device. The device may move un-
controllably if the parking brake is open.

For servicing 

performed by the user, the device must be disassem-
bled, cleaned and maintained only to the degree that 
this is possible without presenting a danger to the main-
tenance personnel and other persons. Suitable precau-
tionary measures include detoxification before 
disassembly. Make provisions for local forced ventila-
tion at the location where the device is to be disassem-
bled, for cleaning the maintenance surface and to 
ensure adequate protection for the personnel.

The ex-

terior of the device should be detoxified by vacuuming 
and wiped clean, or treated with sealant before being re-
moved from the hazardous area. All unit parts must be 
regarded as contaminated when they are taken from the 
hazardous area. Suitable measures must be taken to 
prevent distribution of the dust.

● 

All contaminated ob-

jects resulting from maintenance and repair work that 
cannot be satisfactorily cleaned must be correctly dis-
posed of. Such objects must be disposed of in sealed 
bags in accordance with the applicable regulations for 
the disposal of this type of waste.

● 

Dust classes M and 

H only: Close the suction opening with the plug when 
transporting and servicing the device.

● 

Dust class H 

only: The effectiveness of the filtration of the device can 
be tested by the test method as specified in EN 60 335-
2-69 22.AA.201.2. This test must be carried out at least 

annually or more frequently if specified in national re-
quirements. If the test result is negative, repeat the test 
with a new flat fold filter.

Safety devices providing hazard 

protection must be checked for correct safety-related 
functionality at least annually by the manufacturer or an 
appropriately instruction person, e.g. absence of leaks, 
filter damage, functionality of the monitoring devices 
(dust classes M and H only).

over the mains connection or the extension cable with 
the rotating brushes of the suction head.

Unsuitable brushes endanger

Devices with pneumatic tyres

CAUTION

Never exceed the maximum per-

missible tyre filling pressure. The tyre filling pressure 
needs to be read on the tyre and if necessary on the 
wheel rim. If these values differ, use the smaller value.

Make sure that the pressure reducer is set correctly 

on the compressor before setting the tyre filling pres-
sure.

● 

In case of devices with screw-in wheel rims: 

Make sure that all wheel rim bolts are tightened securely 
before setting the tyre filling pressure.

Care and service

Prior to cleaning, maintenance 

and replacement of parts, the device needs to be 
switched off and the mains plug or battery pack re-
moved. Switch the device off before changing over to 
another function.

CAUTION

● 

Repairs may only be carried out 

by approved customer service sites or staff qualified in 
this area who are familiar with all relevant safety instruc-
tions.

Clean the water lever limit facility regularly, 

checking for any signs of damage. 

ATTENTION

Pay attention to the safety inspec-

tion for mobile devices for industrial use in accordance 
with the locally applicable regulations

Short-circuits or 

other damage. Do not clean the device with a hose or 
high-pressure water jet.
