  As the layer of frost is removed, the 

thaw water can bring foreign matter 

into the outlet chute, obstructing the 

opening. In this case, this obstruction 

must be removed.

The cooling compartment operates in 

cycles: cooling – frost dew is generat-

ed on the back wall; defrosting – water 

runs down the back wall.

• Prior to cleaning, de-energize the 

refrigerator by removing the plug 

from the socket, switching off the re-

frigerator or switching off the break-

er or removing the fuse. To unplug 

from the power source, grip the plug 

and not the cable!

• Make sure that water does not get 

on the control panel or the lighting.

• Do not use spray defrosters as they 

may  produce  an  explosive  mixture, 

contain solvents that damage plas-

tic parts of the product and even in-

terfere with health.

• As possible, make sure that the wa-

ter used for cleaning does not get 

into the defrost water tank. To clean, 

use  a  moist  (not  drenched)  cloth  or 

sponge.

• Use mild detergents to wash the en-

tire cooling compartment, avoiding 

the door’s seal. Do not use deter-

gents that contain abrasive agents 

or acids.  Wash the door’s seal with 

clean water and wipe it dry.

Defrosting the freezer

  Frost accumulated in the freezer im-

pairs  the  operational  efficiency  of  the 

device and increases power consump-

tion;
