Safety systems

Start lock-out

The appliance cannot be switched on until 

the blender jug has been turned firmly into 

place.

Automatic disconnection

The appliance switches off automatically 

if the blender jug accidentally becomes 

detached during operation.

Overload protection

If the motor switches itself off while the 

appliance is being used, the overload pro-

tection feature has been activated. Possible 

causes:

–

very large amounts of ingredients,

–

appliance operated too long.

If a safety system is activated, see 

“Troubleshooting”.

2  Rotary switch with illuminated ring 

The illuminated ring flashes slowly when 

the appliance is ready for use (

). 

The illuminated ring is lit continuously 

when the appliance is in operation. 

Rapid flashing signals a fault (see 

“Troubleshooting”).

second time.

  =  For cutting ingredients in the 

universal cutter. Press button

 =  Pulse circuit at maximum
