heat-resistant protective cover (speciic types only) 

You can store the iron on the heat-resistant protective cover immediately after ironing. It is not 

necessar y to let the iron cool down irst.

Do not use the heat-resistant protective cover during ironing.

 Insert the tip of the soleplate into the heat-resistant protective cover (1) and then press 

down the heel of the iron (2) (Fig. 21).

Environment

 - Do not throw away the appliance with the normal household waste at the end of its life, but 

hand it in at an oficial collection point for recycling. By doing this, you help to preserve the 

environment (Fig. 22).

Continue ironing in horizontal position and
