ZWILLINGSNADEL

(außer Modell 780)

Mit  der  Zwillingsnadel  nähen  Sie  zwei  parallele  Reihen 

von  Stichen  für  Biesen,  doppelte  aufliegende  Stiche  oder 

Dekorationen.

Wenn  Sie  die  Zwillingsnadel  benutzen  darf  die  Stichbreite 

nie  die  für  die  Zwillingsnadel  angegebene  Markierung 

überschreiten,  gleichgültig  welches  Stichmuster  Sie  nähen. 

A n s o n s t e n  b r i c h t  d i e  N a d e l  o d e r  d i e  M a s c h i n e  k a n n 

beschädigt werden.

EINFÄDELN DER ZWILLINGSNADEL

1.  Stecken Sie je eine Garnrolle auf beide Garnrollenhalter. 

F ü h r e n  S i e  b e i d e  F ä d e n  w i e  e i n e n ,  a u ß e r  a n  d e n 

doppelten  Fadenführungen.  Ziehen  Sie  je  einen  Faden 

durch die Fadenführung und dann von vorn nach hinten 

durch die Nadelöhre.

2.  Holen  Sie  den  Unterfaden  wie  beim  Nähen  mit  einer 

normalen Nadel herauf. Ziehen Sie die drei Fäden unter 

den Nähfuß und dann etwa 15 cm nach hinten.

BITTE BEACHTEN:  Der  Nadeleinfädler  eignet  sich  nicht 

zum Einfädeln der Zwillingsnadel.

NÄHEN EINER ECKE MIT DER ZWILLINGSNADEL

1.  Halten  Sie  die  Maschine  mit  dem  Handrad  an,  wenn 

die  linke  Nadelspitze  (die  längere  der  beiden)  gerade 

den  Stoff  ansticht.  Heben  Sie  den  Nähfuß  an,  drehen 

Sie den Stoff um 45° und lassen Sie den Nähfuß wieder 

herunter.

2.  Machen  Sie  einen  Stich  und  lassen  Sie  dabei  die  linke 

Nadelspitze im Stoff. Heben Sie den Nähfuß an, drehen 

Sie  den  Stoff  um  weitere  45°,  lassen  Sie  den  Nähfuß 

herunter und nähen Sie weiter.

TWIN NEEDLE

 (Except Model 780)

A twin-needle produces two rows of parallel stitches for pin 

tucks, double top stitching and decorative sewing.

When  using  twin-needles, 

the  stitch  width  should  never 

be  set  above  twin  needle  mark, 

regardless  of  the  stitch 

you  have  selected.  Doing  so  will  result  in  broken  needles 

and possible damage to your machine.

THREADING THE TWIN NEEDLE

1.  Place a spool on each spool pin. Thread the two threads 

as one except double thread guides are provided. Draw 

one  thread  through  each  of  these  and  through  each 

needle front to back.

2.  Pick up bobbin thread as for single needle sewing. Pull 

the three threads together under the presser foot to the 

back of the machine, leaving about 15 cm clear.

NOTE:  Needle threader cannot be used to thread the twin  

needle.

TURNING A CORNER WITH A TWIN NEEDLE

1.  Use  hand  wheel  to  stop  stitching  with  the  left-hand 

needle  (the  longer  of  the  two)  just  piercing  the  fabric. 

Raise presser foot, turn the fabric by 45° and lower the 

foot.

2.  Take  one  stitch,  leaving  the  left-hand  needle  piercing 

the fabric. Raise presser foot, turn fabric by further 45°, 

lower the foot, and continue sewing.
