General notes

Connecting the suction hose

–  Push the connecting piece of the suction hose into the suction port, 

turning it to the rear until it latches in.

Removing the suction hose

–  Push the button on the connecting piece. Turn the connecting piece 

a 1/4 turn to the side and pull it out.

–   If the spray tube is installed, undo this likewise. To do this, push the 

button of the quick coupling.

Mechanical suction force control

Using the mechanical suction force control (secondary air valve), the 

suction force can be reduced.
Secondary air valve closed = full suction force, 

secondary air valve open    = reduced suction force.

   During  spray  extraction  and  wet  cleaning,  the  secondary  air 

valve must always be closed.

Parking position

–  Insert the suction tube complete with nozzle and hose into the suc-

tion tube holder on the rear of the housing. 

  If  the  drained  appliance  is  stored  away  upright,  hook  the  suction 

tube on the underside of the appliance.

Storage of attachments

•  During dry suction operation, the clean water tank can be used as 

an attachments box.

Dry vacuuming

Do not use the TWIN for dry vacuuming if the dust bag 

system  is  not  installed  in  accordance  with  the  operat-

ing instructions. This could damage the appliance.

  Never  vacuum  up  liquids  or  wet  dirt  during  dry  vacu-

uming.

  Do not vacuum large quantities of fine dust, e.g. flour, 

cocoa powder etc.

c

  Wet cleaned or shampooed rugs and carpets must be 

completely dried.

Dry vacuuming with filter bag system

 Remove the waste water tank (12)!

Insert the filter bag using the lug into the filter bag holder.

   Make  sure  the  opening  of  the  filter  bag  lines  up  with  the  filter 

bag bracket.

Insert  the  filter  bag  system  into  the  holder  inside  the  appliance  hous-

ing.
Close the housing cover.
To  do  this,  grip  the  carrying  handle.  Then  push  down  the  housing 

cover.  Gently  press  the  housing  cover  to  the  level  of  the  unlocking 

mechanism until you hear the cover latch into place.
Connect the suction hose to the appliance.
To do this, plug the suction hose connector into the suction port. Turn 

the suction hose connector until you see and hear it latch into place.
Connect the telescopic wand or the nozzle that you want to use to the 

handle of the suction hose.
Gently press the handle and twist it sideways into the telescopic wand 

or the nozzle.

   Only  select  nozzles  for  dry  vacuuming  which  are  suitable  for 

dry vacuum operation.

Changing the filter bag

Open the housing cover. Grasp the handle, then push the unlock but-

ton. Then lift up the housing cover. Pull the filter bag system out of the 

designated holder. Dispose of the filter bag via household waste.
