Cleaning the oven
The oven should be kept clean
at all times. A build-up of fats or
other foodstuffs could result in
a fire, especially in the grill pan.
Cleaning materials
Before using any cleaning materials
o n y o u r o v e n , c h e c k t h a t t h e y a r e
s u i t a b l e a n d t h a t t h e i r u s e i s
recommended by the manufacturer.
Cleaners that contain bleach should
N O T b e u s e d a s t h e y m a y d u l l t h e
surface finishes. Harsh abrasives should
also be avoided.

Never use steam or steam machines
to clean the appliance.
External cleaning
Regularly wipe over the control pa-
nel, oven door and door seal using a soft
cloth well wrung out in warm water to
which a little washing up liquid has been
added.
To prevent damaging or weakening
the door glass panels avoid the use of
the following:

H o u s e h o l d d e t e r g e n t a n d
bleaches
•
Impregnated pads unsuitable
for non-stick saucepans
•
Brillo/Ajax pads or steel wool
pads
•
C h e m i c a l o v e n p a d s o r
aerosols
•
Rust removers
•
Bath/Sink stain removers
Clean the outer and inner door glass
using warm soapy water. Should the in-
ner door glass become heavily soiled it
is recommended that a cleaning product
such as Hob Brite, or Bar Keepers Fri-
end is used.
