Hardw are Installation Process

DDR

1. The DIM M  socket has a notch, so the DIM M  memory

module can only  fit in one direction.

2. Insert the DIM M  memory  module v ertically  into the

DIM M  socket. Then push it dow n.

3. C lose the plastic clip at both edges of the DIM M

sockets to lock the DIM M  module.
Rev erse the installation steps w hen y ou w ish to
remov e the DIM M  module.

When ST R/DIMM LED is ON, do not install/remove DIMM from socket.

Please note that the DIMM module can only fit in one direction due to
the two notches.  Wrong orientation will cause improper installation.
Please change the insert orientation.

Step 2: Install memory modules

The  mother board has  2 dual inline memory   m odule ( DIM M )  sockets . The  BIOS w ill automatic ally
detects memory  ty pe and size. To install the memory  module, just push it v ertically  into the DIM M  socket
.The DIM M   module  can onl y  fit  in  one  direction due to  the notch. M emor y  size  can v ary  betw een
sockets.
