• Residual heat indicator

As long as a cooking zone
being used is hot, the
indicator light stays on. When
a cooking zone is in the off
position but its temperature
is high, the residual heat indicator remains
on.

Warning

— Do not touch the cooking zone

before the residual heat indicator goes off
(or after a prolonged power cut as the
temperature of the cooking zones can stay
hot).
— Do not stare at the halogen lamps in the
cooking zones.
— If a crack appears in the glass top,
immediately disconnect the appliance from
the electric power. Contact the After-Sales
Service Department.

TURNING ON THE RADIANT/

HALOGEN BURNERS (depending

on model)

To start the cooking, turn the knob to the
setting suitable for your dish (see cooking
table at the end of the instructions). The
cooking zone’s power indicator lights up
immediately.

The residual heat indicator lights up under the
glass top when the cooking zone reaches a
high temperature.

End cooking by turning the knob to position
“O” a little bit before when you want it to stop
in order to make use of accumulated heat.

The rings are regulated automatically; they
switch on and off to maintain the selected
power level. The temperature thus remains
uniform and appropriate for cooking your
food. 
The frequency with which it regulates varies
according to the selected power level.

Tip

— Do not place any plastic or

aluminium foil objects on the cooking
surface while it is still hot.
— You will obtain the best result by using
cookware whose diameter is near the size
of the burner drawn on the glass top.
— Clean the outside bottom of the cookware
before using it.
— The vitroceramic glass surface is highly
resistant, but not unbreakable. Avoid hard
shocks from cookware.
— Avoid rubbing cookware on the top as it
can eventually degrade the surface of the
glass top.
