There are no holes in the vacuuming bag – do not
use the core te mperature probe.

Pieces of meat or fish that have been vacuumed
to gether are not pressed directly against one
another.

As far as possible, avoid piling up ve get ables and
desser ts when vacuuming them.
If in doubt, place the food into a new bag and vacuum it
again.

cooked. This is the only way to prevent the escape of
gases from the food (e.g. from ve get ables) which inhibit
the transfer of heat, or to prevent the texture of the food
from changing, and thus altering how it cooks.

You can also use the vacuuming drawer to vacuum and
reseal glass bottles, e.g. bottles of cooking oil.

vacuum in a bag, the food's cell pores open and the

Extend the storage time for food. Due to the low - ox ygen
environment in the vacuum, freshly vacuumed food
r e m a i n s e d i b l e fo r l o n g e r w h e n i t i s s to r e d c o r r e c t l y.
The freezer burn is lower when the food has been frozen
a n d va c u u m e d .
Re - s e a l fo o d i n g l a s s c o n t a i n e r s ( s u c h a s j a m s a n d
sauces). The vacuuming significantly increases the
s to r a g e t i m e .

You must ensure that the glass cont ainer s that are
used are no t aller than 80 mm. Taller cont ainer s
may damage the appliance's glass lid.

Only use screw -top jar s that are robust and int act.
‒
O n l y t i g h te n t h e c o n t a i n e r by h a n d . T h e c o n t a i n e r i s
a u to m a t i c a l l y s e a l e d by t h e va c u u m - s e a l i n g
process.

N ot all jar s or lids are suit able for being re-sealed
under a vacuum. Af ter the vacuuming process,
c h e c k w h e t h e r a va c u u m h a s o c c u r r e d : A l i d t h a t i s
cur ving inwards and can only be opened with a lot
of fo rce is an indication that the vacuuming process
h a s wo r ke d . I f t h e l i d m a ke s a " c l i c k i n g " s o u n d
when it is pushed in and released and if it is easy to
open, no vacuum has occurred. Repeat the
vacuuming process or use more suit able screw -top
j a r s .

unpleasant odour s. The hermetic sealing that t a kes
p l a c e d u r i n g va c u u m i n g m e a n s t h a t n o u nwa n te d o d o u r s
can get out and the flavour cannot be absorbed by the
other food.
Sealed vacuuming bags or vacuuming cont ainer s are
the ideal means of transpor t for liquid foods. They are
e a s y to h a n d l e , l e a k- p ro o f a n d s p a c e - s av i n g .
