Fixed numbers

Your tel ephone offers you the possi bi l i ty of 
maki ng an al ternati ve phone book i f thi s feature i s
avai l abl e on your SIM  card. Wi th the hel p of thi s
al ternati ve phone book you can restri ct the use of
your phone onl y to numbers stored i n thi s speci al
phone book. Thi s tel ephone book operates i n ex-
actl y the same w ay as your ordi nary phone book. 

H ow ever, i n order to be abl e to make such a
phone book you need to have a PU K2 code from
your netw ork operator and to use a PIN 2 code of
your ow n choi ce.

make use of fi xed numbers.

O wn numbers

Some netw orks offer the possi bi l i ty of havi ng
more than one phone number on the same SIM
card. For i nstance one for normal  conversati ons,
one for fax and one for data transmi ssi on.

Thi s sub menu operates i n the same w ay as the
ordi nary phone book menu gi vi ng you the possi -
bi l i ti es of fi ndi ng, addi ng, edi ti ng and del eti ng the
entri es. 

Prefix telephone numbers

In your phone book you can store prefi x phone
numbers and add addi ti onal  di gi ts to these. A 
useful  feature i f for i nstance you often cal l  a 
company w i th a sw i tchboard w i th di rect di al l i ng 
faci l i ty.

H ow to enter a prefix telephone 
number

1. Enter the prefi x di gi ts of the tel ephone 

number.

2. H ol d dow n the 

-key for approx. 2 se-

conds, and you w i l l  see a

W  

on the 

di spl ay.

3. Repeat, hol di ng dow n the 

-key for each 

character you w i sh to add to the prefi x
number.

4. Press 

5. Enter name and l ocati on number

and press  

O K
