• Once pressure has built up in the appliance, the lock mechanism system 

is activated and then the lid will not be able to be opened during cooking 
(so all ingredients must be added at the beginning of cooking). Never 
attempt to open the lid during pressure cooking. When the pressure for 
cooking is reached, the appliance switches automatically to cooking 
phase, and the time previously set starts counting down. 

• When the food is cooked under pressure, after the cooking process the 

appliance will switch to keep warm state. The digital screen will indicate 
‘’b’’. For pressure release stage refer to the paragraph 8: Opening the 
lid.

• When using the pressure cooker for the first few times, you may notice 

slight steam leakage from the lid. This is normal and will occur when 
pressure builds up. Some leakage from the pressure limit valve may also 
occur during cooking.

• It is normal for a small amount of steam to escape during cooking (as 

the valve is a safety valve).

4.  Cooking and heating state:

 only «  keep warm/cancel  » or «  start/

stop » keys are available, other functions are invalid.

5.  Keeping warm state.

 When the holding time countdown 0, the “beep” 

sounds, enter keeping warm state (except for dough/yogurt, browning 
and DIY functions), the digital screen indicates “b” and the indicator 
lights above the keep warm key function. 
After 24 consecutive hours, this function will be cancelled automatically 
and it returns to the standby state. 
If you want to cancel the automatic keep warm, you have to do it 
before to select your cooking mode. A long press will cancel automatic 
keep warm for all menu, there will be a long “beep” sound and the 
indicator will light on and off. Another long press will reactivate the 
automatic keep warm, you will hear two beeps and the indicator will 
light on and off. At the end of this cooking mode, if you want to start 
another cooking mode the automatic keep warm is coming back alone. 
If pressing « Keep warm/Cancel » key at standby mode, it enters keep 
warm function, the digital screen indicates “b” and the indicator lights.
