Adjusting the operating
pressure and flow rate
HD 801 B Cage:
n
This unit has a fixed water pressure and
flow rate which cannot be changed.
HD 1040 B Cage:
n
Operating pressure and flow rate can be
adjusted steplessly with the pressure and
flow control valve on the pump head:
– Screw in the regulating screw:
Lower operating pressure with reduced
flow rate
– Unscrew the regulating screw:
Higher operating pressure with
increased flow rate.
HD 1050 B Cage, HD 1050 DE Cage:
n
This unit has been fitted with a servopress
device. Operating pressure and flow rate
are adjusted steplessly with the regulating
wheel on the handgun.
Caution!
Ensure that the unit is situated firmly on
the ground.
The water emitted by the high-pressure
nozzle causes the handgun to recoil. An
offset spray lance may also cause
a torque. Therefore, hold the spray lance
and handgun firmly in both hands.
Never aim the water jet at people, animals,
the unit itself or electrical components.
The high-pressure cleaner must not be
operated by children (risk of accident due
to improper use of the unit).
Clean vehicle tyres / tyre valves at
a minimum distance of 30 cm only, other-
wise they could be damaged by the high-
pressure jet. The first sign of damage is dis-
coloration of the tyre. Damaged vehicle ty-
res are a source of danger.
Do not direct the water jet at materials con-
taining asbestos or other hazardous sub-
stances.
To protect against splash water the opera-
tor should wear suitable protective clothing.
Ensure that all connection hoses are firmly
connected.
When operating the unit, do not wedge the
handgun lever.
