Appropriate use
n
Use the unit for cleaning machines, vehic-
les, buildings, tools, etc.
n
When cleaning facades, patios, garden
tools, etc., use the high-pressure jet wit-
hout detergent. For stubborn dirt we re-
commend the dirt blaster as an optional ac-
cessory.
n
Only clean engines in places which have ap-
propriate oil separators (protection of the
environment).
n
Observe the relative safety regulations
when using the cleaner at filling stations
or other high-risk areas.
Caution!
Do not operate the high-pressure clea-
ner near spilled fuel, but move the machine to
another location without generating any
sparks.
Do not store, spill or use fuel near naked
flames or appliances such as an oven, boi-
ler, water heater, etc., which have a pilot
flame or generate sparks.
Keep highly flammable objects and materi-
als away from the silencer (at least 2 m).
Do not operate the engine without a si-
lencer which should be checked and clea-
ned regularly and, if required, replaced.
Before using this engine in wooded, bush-
covered or grassy areas, fit a spark arre-
ster to the exhaust.
Except when adjusting the engine, do not
run the engine without the air filter or wit-
hout the cover over the intake pipe.
Do not adjust the regulating springs, regu-
lating linkage or other parts which could
increase the engine speed.
Do not touch hot silencers, cylinders or
cooling fins. Risk of burns!
Never place hands or feet near moving or
rotating parts.
Never operate the unit in closed rooms.
Danger of suffocation!
Operating the cleaner
Danger!
The high-pressure jet generates a high
noise level when the unit is in use. Risk of da-
mage to hearing. When working with the unit,
always wear suitable hearing protection.
Evacuate air from the cleaner

Open water inlet.
n
Start the engine in accordance with the
operating manual supplied by the engine
manufacturer.
n
To vent the unit, unscrew the nozzle and
leave the unit running until the water exits
with no air bubbles.
n
Switch off the unit and screw the nozzle
back on.

Rotate the nozzle housing to the desired
spray type only when the handgun is clo-
sed.

Select pencil jet or fan jet by contactless
changeover:
rotate the spray lance, which is pointing
down at an angle of approx. 45°, to the left
or right.
