An IDE dev ice connects to the com puter via an IDE connector. One IDE connector can conn ect to one
IDE cable, and the single IDE ca ble can then connect to two IDE devices ( hard drive or optical drive). If
you wish to connect two IDE devices, please set th e jum per on one IDE device as M aster and the other
as Slav e (for infor m ation on se ttings, plea se refer to the instructions located on the IDE d evice).
