hardness te st : fill the small measurement tube with 
m a i n s   wa te r   u p   to   t h e   5   m l   m a r k .

A d d   d ro p s   o f   i n d i c a to r   s o l u t i o n   u n t i l   t h e   c o l o r  
c h a n g e s   f r o m   p u r p l e   to   ye l l ow.

I m p o r t a n t :

 count the drops and carefully swing the 

measurement tube af ter ever y drop until the liquids 
have  mixed thoroughly.  The number of drops 
c o r r e s p o n d s   to   t h e   wa te r   h a r d n e s s .

hardness. The value 12 is set by  default.
