PRECAUTIONS FOR CORDLESS IM PACT
WRENCH
1.
This is a portable tool for tightening and loosening
bolts and nuts. Use it only for these operation.
2.
Use the earplugs if using for a long tim e.
3.
One-hand operation is extrem ely dangerous; hold
the unit firm ly w ith both hands w hen operating.
4.
Check that the socket is not cracked or broken.
Broken or cracked sockets are dangerous. Check
the socket before using it.
5.
Secure the socket w ith the socket pin and the ring.
If the socket pin or ring securing the socket is
dam aged, the socket m ay com e off from the im pact
w rench, w hich is quite dangerous. Do not use
socket pins or rings that are deform ed, w orn out,
cracked, or in any other w ay dam aged. Alw ays
m ake sure to install the socket pin and ring in
the correct position.
6.
Check the tightening torque.
Th e ap p r o p r i at e t o r q u e f o r t i g h t en i n g a b o l t
depends on the m aterial the bolt is m ade of, its
dim ensions, grade, etc.
A l so , t h e t i g h t en i n g t o r q u e g en er at ed b y t h i s
i m pact w r ench depends on the m ater i al s and
d i m en si o n s o f t h e b o l t , h o w l o n g t h e i m p act
w rench is applied for the w ay in w hich the socket
is installed, etc.
Also the torque w hen the battery has just been
charged and w hen it is about to run out are
slightly different. Use a torque w rench to check
t h at t h e b o l t h as b een t i g h t en ed w i t h t h e
appropriate torque.
7.

direction of rotation. Alw ays release the sw itch
an d w ai t f o r i m p act w r en ch t o st o p b ef o r e
sw itching the direction of rotation.
8.
Never touch the turning part.
Do not allow the turning socket section to get near
your hands or any other part of your body. You
could be cut or caught in the socket. Also, be
car ef u l n o t t o t o u ch t h e so cket af t er u si n g
continuously it for a long tim e. It gets quite hot
and could burn you.
9.
Never let the im pact w rench turn w ithout a load
w hen using the universal joint.
If the socket turns w ithout being connected to a
load, the universal joint causes the socket to turn
w ildly .
You could get hurt or the m ovem ent of the socket
could shake the im pact w rench so m uch as to
m ake you drop it.
10. Alw ays charge the battery at a tem perature of 0
– 40°C.
A tem perature of less than 0°C w ill result in over
charging w hich is dangerous. The battery cannot
be charged at a tem perature greater than 40°C.
The m ost suitable tem perature for charging is
that of 20 – 25°C.
11. Do not use the charger continuously.
When one charging is com pleted, leave the charger
for about 15 m inutes before the next charging of
battery.
12. Do not allow foreign m atter to enter the hole for
connecting the rechargeable battery.
13. Never disassem ble the rechargeable battery and
charger.
14. Never short-circuit the rechargeable battery.
Short-circuiting the battery w ill cause a great
electric current and overheat. It results in burn
or dam age to the battery.
15. Do not dispose of the battery in fire.
If the battery burnt, it m ay explode.
16. Do not insert object into the air ventilation slots
of the charger.
Inserting m etal objects or inflam m ables into the
charger air ventilation slots w ill result in electrical
shock hazard or dam aged charger.
17. Bring the battery to the shop from w hich it w as
purchased as soon as the post-charging battery
life becom es too short for practical use. Do not
dispose of the exhausted battery.
