Use cursor key to shift left, right, up and down between the selections 1
-16 on the menu, key in the a desired track number in any of the selec-
tion 1-16. No need to key in a number in each selection.
Press (Play/pause), play will start on the sequence from 1-16, if any of
the selection was left blank, it will skip and play the next selection.
To cancel Program play
Press stop twice simultaneously will cancel the program play or press
(prog) to open the menu and shift the cursor to “clear” and press (enter)
will cancel all program play.
Selecting subtitle language (DVD)
This operation works only with discs on which multiple subtitle lan-
guages are recorded.
Press the subtitle button during play. The subtitle language appears.
Press repeatedly until your desired language appears on the screen.
Note: some DVDs require setting of subtitle language on the DVD
menu.
Selecting audio sound track language (DVD)
This operation works only with discs on which multiple audio soundtrack
language are recorded.
Press “Audio” button repeatedly during play until the desired language
appears on the screen.
changing the audio channel output (VcD)
During VcD play, press “Audio” button to select an audio channel.
Left mono > Right mono > Left+Right mono > Stereo
View On-Screen information.
In Disc mode, press (setup/preset) on the remote control, a menu will ap-
pear on the TV monitor. Use cursor keys to shift to each setting on the
menu.
System Setup
1. TV system - to change the default output colour system (NTSc/PAL) to
match the TV monitor.
2. Auto Play - to set the unit to play automatically once a disc is inserted
3. TV type - to set format of output: 4:3 or 16:9
4. Password - to unlock Parental control lock for rated disc. The default
password is “0000”
5. Rating- Parental control Lock Level, Password is needed for both un-
locking and locking.
mPAA (motion Picture Association of America) guideline is a rating sys-
tem that provides advanced cautionary information to parents about the
content of movie programs.
The lock level is equivalent to the following mPAA rating system:
Level 7: Nc-17 (No one 17 and under admitted)
